…well, at least for me. Great news from Duke today! It’s official, I’ve had two bronchoscopies in a row with NO rejection!
For my family and me, this is Thanksgiving in October! Thank you Father for your mercy and thanks to many of you who have been praying us through this year of battling rejection!
I would also be remiss in not saying the I’m grateful to the Lord for the circumstances that led us to Duke. Just another example of Romans 8:28 in action! We thought that changing insurance was going to be a bad thing, but the Lord used it for good in that I wound up at Duke, which was one of the best things that could have happened health-wise!
So, that’s about it. Until next time, we’ll keep trusting the Lord NO MATTER WHAT! Through the times of weeping and the times of rejoicing. I still have plenty of friends out there who are fighting health battles of their own and desperately need your prayers.
I realize right now this is a mountain peak time for me but God is no less God during the valley times. We can’t base our perspective of Him on our circumstances. To quote our friend Job, “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord.”
